Medical Coordinator in Tucson, Arizona

Full-time /direct hire immediate job opening located in Tucson, AZ. The non-profit employer is seeking to hire bi-lingual Medical Coordinators and Lead Medical Coordinators fluent in both English and Spanish.  For immediate consideration please contact me and forward a copy of your most updated resume.
 
 Responsibilities include:
 
Maintain and review for accurate and complete list of medical supplies and over-the-counter medication.
Collect, maintain, and submit weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports to supervisor.
Facilitate and conduct medication and side effects training to employees as required.
Provide a fail-safe plan with medication count, label accuracy, and self-administration of medication, including over-the-counter drugs.
Schedule and provide transportation to clients on medical appointments with assistance from floor staff as needed.
 
 
Qualifications:
 
Must have a High School Diploma and graduated from Medical Assisting training
              Must be certified Medical Assistant (CMA) must have passed the appropriate 
              examination from accredited U.S institution
        OR:
      Have an Associate degree in nursing of medical sciences (e.g. LVN-RN) and Licensure according to State requirements.
 
 
·         Minimum 1 year of full-time direct service delivery experience.
·         Clear Tuberculosis test results.
·         Immunization documentation Tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis (Td/Tdap), Varicella, Measles,
          Mumps, Rubella (MMR), Hepatitis A and B
·         Clear background check from appropriate entity
·         Bilingual in (Spanish/English).  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret common medical
          reports and legal documents
·         Willingness to work a flexible schedule and be on-call evenings and weekends
·         Comply with annual training requirements/licensure/certifications
